The Finance Manager, as per the Corporations’ by-laws, policies and strategic plan, works in collaboration with the Chief Operating and Finance Officer to provide quality services for all financial management and accounting functions, including preparation of annual operating budgets, management of year end audit process, the development and review of facility policies and procedures, information technology services and other related functions. The Finance Manager seeks to promote and maintain a positive, professional team oriented and service conscious environment and demonstrates a commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Values of Actionmarguerite. Service: Finance Starting Date: As soon as possible Shift and Hours of Work: 1.00 FTE - full-time - hours of work currently 08:00 - 16:15 Pay Scale: As per established salary scale Specifications: Assignment and hours of work are subject to change at any time as per operational requirements. Closing Date: December 5, 2023 Required Qualifications Education and Experience: Accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent combination of education and experience; Demonstrated knowledge of public sector accounting; and Continuing education in human resources, health care administration and/or information technology is a definite asset. 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a health care environment; Previous supervisory experience with sound leadership practices; High comfort level with technology and solid working knowledge of Excel, Dynamics Great Plains, Report Designer and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central; and Experience in the development of policies and procedures. Abilities and Skills: Ability to communicate, verbal and written in both official languages (French and English) is required; Strong communication and presentation skills in order to maintain positive working relationships and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including the WRHA, leadership team and direct.
