The Department of State, Office of Logistics Management, Office of Program Management and Policy (A/LM/PMP) requires a support contractor to provide administrative, professional, and technical staffing services.ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned. * Draft statements of work and assist management with the monitoring of executed contracting tasks. * Assist in analyzing and improving knowledge of management processes and procedures and/or office programs. * Analyzes management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology. * Develops reports, letters, and other documents for management programs, policies, and activities. * Research and use government and private sector best practices to measure and improve customer service, approval workflows, and processing timelines. * Analyze a large number of financial, program planning, bilateral, and program evaluation documents for standard and ad hoc reports, as needed. * Performs administrative and financial analysis; and make recommendations for changes and improvements. * Provides research, spreadsheet development, data collection, and analysis to the program office. * Prepares reports such as monthly, quarterly, cumulative semi-annual and cumulative annual reports. * Provides day-to-day support in diverse program activities and projects. * Performs other related duties as assigned. * Develop and maintain strong relationships through excellent customer service skills, project management knowledge, and a related understanding of the program office needs and mandates.13. Employee requires infrequent supervision and is expected to work independently according to established policies and accepted practice.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of related experience. * Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; sufficient to draft action and info memos, congressional testimony, press guidance and congressional and general correspondence. * Advanced knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite. * Familiarity in developing project and program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones involving complex programs, systems, or issues of critical importance to the entire organization. * Knowledge in assessing project progress, conducting briefings, and preparing comprehensive reports with solutions and recommendations for top-level managers and executives.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics * Must be MS Office Suite proficient * Must be a self-starter * Must be organized * Must have a Secret ClearancePreferred * N/ANECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
