Contracts Analyst The Contracts Analyst will support the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) Contract Management Team (CMT) and work side by side with government analysts to support all contract activities within the organization. The CMT serves as in interface between the Project Directors/SETAs, the Financial Management Team, and Army Contracting Commands (ACC-Redstone and ACC-Orlando). Job Requirements: Must be familiar with Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs) to include Statement of Works (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategies Must have a good understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and other local regulation and policies. Work contract modification packages to include Justification and Approvals (J&As) and documenting changes in scope. Coordinate actions with technical POCs, ACC, and Finance Team. Ensure contract packages comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), Army Federal Acquisition Regulation (AFARS), and other PM specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Manage and upload data in the contracting database. Familiarity with Secure/Classified contracts. Prepare, organize, and maintain contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance. Review, comment, and provide feedback on CRPs and other requirements. Qualified candidates must have: A minimum of 3-5 years of government or industry contracting experience. A degree in related field. An ACTIVE Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS SCI. Excellent Microsoft Office skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate with all levels of an organization to include senior military and government civilian personnel. Ability to work independently, but also closely interact with other team members as necessary. Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills, including ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
