Under the oversight of the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for the accurate and timely financial reporting of Koha Foods and related entities and the daily operations of the Accounting department. Essential Functions and Accountabilities: Responsible for the accuracy of the general ledger, including account reconciliations and posting of adjustments Responsible for oversight of the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Prepare monthly financial reports in a timely manner in accordance with GAAP Prepare complex financial spreadsheets and analyses Work closely with other departments to ensure efficient operations Ensure compliance with all federal, state and county laws, rules and regulations, including the filing of periodic regulatory reports and update of applicable licenses Responsible for the training and development of accounting staff Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Thorough knowledge of all accounting functional areas including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and purchasing Thorough knowledge of GAAP Prior experience with inventory Minimum 2 years experience as an Accounting Manager in a high volume, fast paced environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management and employees Excellent computer skills Strong analytic and problem solving skills Ability to deal effectively with change and adapt accordingly Benefits: 401(k) and Matching Aflac Supplemental Insurance Employee Discounts Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Medical/Dental/Drug/Vision Insurance paid at 100% for Self/Single Employee (Base Plan) Paid Holidays Profit Sharing Referral Program Vacation and Sick Paid Time Off
