Austin Gastroenterology is currently seeking a Private Pay Specialist to join our Central Business Office. In this role you will be responsible for collecting balances owed on patient accounts. You will speak with patients by phone to collect payment information, process payments, and answer questions regarding balances. You will also process patient refunds if needed. You will receive inbound and place outbound calls in this role.Successful candidates will have two or more years of relevant medical billing and collections experience. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of general medical billing practices and insurance terminology coupled with superb customer service skills and follow through. Bilingual Spanish preferred.This is a full time role working at our Central Business Office in Northwest Austin.
