Internal Controls Analyst

Description:
Our client is looking for an Internal Controls professional to help enhance the quality of their controls environment. This person will be working with the business to do gap analysis and remediation on their accounting processes. They are looking for someone with a background in controls and SOX to help guide their team on effective documentation and testing of ICFR control deficiencies. This person will be focused on identifying areas of process improvement and supporting the rollouts of frameworks to new acquisitions. Ideal candidate will possess a background in leading controls for business projects as this person will be working closely with multiple teams.Required Skills:3+ years' experience creating and testing financial controlsExposure to compliance regulations such as SOXKnowledge and use of audit and risk management toolsStrong Excel knowledgeExperience reviewing compliance procedures and providing gap analysisStrong verbal and written communication ability to work with all levels of an organizationTravel for position on a quarterly basisDesired Skills:CPA certificationExperience in Audit BoardExperience with Power BI and adjusting dashboardsBackground in Internal AuditBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
