Company: The AZEK Company Location: Scranton, PA Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:30pm-7:00am Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle to transport goods to and from designated locations. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload materials using forklifts and other equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, manifests, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Transport pallet goods and packages from a place of origin to assigned destination Communicate with lead and outside vendor on status of purchase orders and availability of deliveries and pick ups Ensure contents are properly secured to prevent breakage or damage Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods from a truck at selected destinations Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs Track and report working hours Adhere to company rules and regulations Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions Comply with ICC and DOT regulations Qualifications: Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a clean driving record. 10+ years of experience as a Class A CDL driver, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting. Forklift experience and certification preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed. High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred Must have DOT medical card Experience driving a large company van or truck preferred Forklift experience Clean driving record Must pass a background check and drug test Comfortable maneuvering and parking a large vehicle Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience.
