Practice Area: Employment Law - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a skilled Generalist/Labor And Employment Associate Attorney to join their team in Corona, CA. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Labor Employment practice areas and possess excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Membership in the State Bar of California is required.Duties:Work in multiple practice areas, including Labor Employment, Governance, Students Special Education, Higher Education, and Litigation.Represent clients in administrative hearings related to Labor Employment matters.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions.Provide legal counsel and support to clients on various employment-related issues.Assist with preparing and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and handbooks.Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members on case strategy and legal matters.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of California.Prior experience in Labor Employment practice areas, including administrative hearings, is preferred.Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Membership in the State Bar of California.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.Time management and prioritization skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.Job Location: Corona, CABenefits Offered:Positive, collegial, intellectually stimulating work environment.Reasonable billable hours requirement.Billable hours bonuses and annual discretionary bonuses.Generous health insurance benefits.401(k) with profit-sharing contributions.
