In this entry level position, the Land Analyst will focus on training and skill development in surface land administration. You will focus on lease reviews, rent reviews, monthly surface rental processing, record keeping as well as various municipal real estate functions from start to finish. This position prepares documents such as leases, land title documentation and third-party requests/consents. Our ideal candidate Has basic knowledge of surface land activities, the Torrens Land System, drilling regulations and the directives of Alberta Energy Regulator and requirements of Land Titles. Knows basic accounting systems and terminology and procedures. Skilled in the use of Microsoft and other current office software in a network environment Has the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, as well as the ability to follow and understand both written and oral instructions accurately. Has demonstrated organizational, and proof-reading skills. Qualifications Successful completion of a diploma program in Petroleum Land Management or related field from a recognized post-secondary institution. One (1) year current, and relevant experience in land administration. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
