(Topics change periodically. ) Prerequisites: ( PSY270H5 or PSY290H5 ) and 1.0 credit from ( PSY346H5 or PSY351H5 PSY352H5 or PSY353H5 or PSY354H5 or PSY355H5 or PSY362H5 or PSY369H5 or PSY372H5 or PSY391H5 or PSY392H5 or PSY393H5 PSY395H5 or PSY397H5 or PSY398H5 or BIO304H5 ). Exclusions: PSY490H1 or PSYD66H3 Estimated course enrolment: 20 Estimated TA Support: 23 hours (total number of assigned hours is dependent on course enrolment and course approval) Class schedule: Lecture - In person: Friday 12:00 p. m. - 3:00 p. m. Sessional dates of appointment: September 5, 2023 - December 31, 2023 Salary: (In accordance with CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement): $9,457.90 for Sessional Lecturer I $9,930.79 for Sessional Lecturer I - Long Term $10,121.77 for Sessional Lecturer II $10,362.76 for Sessional Lecturer III Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail. Qualifications: The candidate must have a Ph D degree or be in the final stages of a Ph D. The decision on hiring will be based on previous teaching experience in this course or other similar courses, academic qualifications and suitability for the position. Description of duties: Preparation and delivery of course content; creation of course material, development and administration of assignments, tests and examinations; the supervision of teaching assistants for leading tutorials and grading and marking student work; submission of final grades to appropriate University officials in accordance with policy; the maintenance of reasonable hours for student contact outside of scheduled contact hours. .
