Wonderland Children's in Knoxville, TN has openings in our Infant/Toddler and PreK Educators at both locations (2525 Merchant Drive & 6808 South Northshore Drive. The hours of availability will be from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Come join our TEAM! Employee Benefits Package to include: salary range: $24,900 - $31,000 annually $250 - $500 Sign On Bonus! 1 week of Paid Vacation after 12 months Quarterly Performance Bonuses - Based on attendance!!! Dental and Vision Insurance Health Insurance 401 K Retirement Program Responsibilities Responsibilities for Pre K & Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher: Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents and caregivers Ensure that each family receives an opportunity to build strong relationships with teaching staff Provide a classroom environment that encourages parent participation Plan periodical parent conferences to discuss children's developmental progress, needs and interests Collaborate with children's families to ensure a smooth transition from home to Child Care setting Create weekly plans and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that nurtures and stimulates all domains of each child's development in their care Provide a developmentally appropriate classroom environment that reflects the children's learning and growth Perform ongoing developmental evaluations of children as required Qualifications for the Teacher Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and in case of emergency a 40-pound child Excellent verbal and written communication skills Prepared to pass a criminal background check Able to maintain an overall positive and professional disposition Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Effectively plan, organize and implement educational activities Demonstrable record of making decisions on behalf of children with their well-being the top priority We are looking forward to receiving your application.
