Overview Job Description: IT Auditor Senior (This position is Hybrid working 2 days a week in the Denton, Texas Support Center) "At Sally Beauty Holdings, we find beauty in diversity. Essential Function: Performs IT audits and ad hoc projects as directed. Assists with IT general control and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance control design and testing. Responsible for timely completion of projects and effective accomplishment of audit procedures to meet established objectives. Assists Management and senior team members with various projects (including Corporate audit) as needed. 55% Performs audit procedures, including conducting interviews, documenting audit evidence, summarizing results, and writing reports as necessary. Also responsible for identifying issues and documenting recommendations. 30% Reviews work paper documentation for internal standards, conclusion, and appropriateness of test procedures. Provide feedback and training to staff members as needed. Communicates the results of review activities to management. 10% Communicates the results of audits to management personnel of sufficient authority to ensure that appropriate action is taken with respect to any deficiencies noted. 5% Performs special projects at the request of, or in assistance to Management as necessary. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor's degree required. 3-5 years of IT audit experience, or combination of audit and operational experience. Certification is desired (CIA, CISA, and/or CISSP). Strong technical understanding of IT systems development and processes. Experience with SQL is a plus. Experience with continuous monitoring development is a plus. Experience with ITGC and SOX compliance methodologies. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Work is performed in conformance with Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards. Maintain independence and objectivity with assignments while developing and maintaining value-added business partnerships. Work Conditions and Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
