DEPARTMENT: Fleet Maintenance COMPENSATION: Hourly Pay: 32.00 This position is covered under the Teamster Mechanic Agreement JOB SUMMARY: General duties include responsible for the repair on all warehouse moving equipment. JOB RESPONSIBILITES::Repair, service and maintain all material handling equipment including electric and gas forklifts, transporters, tuggers, and electric and manual pallet jacks.:Decision making and problem solving required:Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs with minimal assistance:Ability to work with minimal supervision:Must furnish basic tools:Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all levels of individuals doing business from within and outside the Company.:Must be able to work night shifts and weekends: Perform repairs in other shop departments as needed REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS::Must be at least 18 years of age:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred :Must have a valid California Driver License with clear record:Minimum of four (4) years of forklift maintenance and repair experience or equivalent combination of education and experience:Experience with repairing and maintaining propane forklifts along with scrubbers:Strong electrical troubleshoot experience with A/C, D/C, and current:Strong knowledge and experience with hydraulic diagnostic:Must furnish basic hand tools and roll:a:way toolbox:Must pass a physical and pre:employment drug test
