Location Okeechobee, FL Benefits Health Insurance Dental Annual year-end bonus Schedule Monday to Friday Overtime Job Description Established Heavy Equipment Rental company seeking Heavy Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians. Must be able to travel to jobsites. General work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays on an as-needed basis. Pay rate will be commensurate with level of experience.Job Duties include but are not limited to: Handle all necessary repairs including the replacement of worn or damaged parts. Provide regular servicing using various tools to dismantle and reassemble equipment components. Adjust engines, as well as any additional assemblies such as gear transmissions and hydraulics. Perform diagnostic testing of equipment. Examine critical parts and operating components of heavy equipment for possible wear and tear, defects, and/or other damage using specialized tools but also trained eyes and ears. Test various types of equipment and machines on a regular schedule to ensure all are operating efficiently and safely. All tools and testing equipment are provided.
