The role requires extensive experience in criminal law, exceptional interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English and Spanish.Duties:Advise clients on legal rights and draw up relevant legal documentsAttend pretrial hearings and advise clients on optimal strategiesManage court appearances, trials, motions drafting, witness interviews, and legal researchAnalyze potential case outcomes based on legal precedentsManage workload effectively, prioritizing cases as neededProvide thorough legal analysis to clients, identifying potential case benefitsGather additional evidence to strengthen clients' cases or challenge prosecution chargesPrepare clients for depositions, define case strategy goals and gather information from witnesses and expertsRequirements:4-5 years of Criminal Defense ExperienceExperience handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levelsProficiency in English and SpanishExceptional interpersonal skillsTeam player attitude, willing to collaborate and strategize with fellow associatesEducation Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the California State BarSkills:Strong legal research and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentJob Location:Fresno, CABenefits:The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceCompetitive compensationPaid parkingGenerous paid time offAnd more
