Check us out at: https://www.woodgrain.com/careers/ The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift vehicle for the purpose of moving, stacking, replenishment, staging, and loading and unloading material for shipment. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and will also be required to perform order pulling duties as needed. Your Duties: Teamwork means we believe in each other! You will be loading and unloading materials for shipment. You will learn proper loading techniques to ensure materials are stable and orders are filled in a SAFE manner. PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to feel, manipulate, or handle; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED required.Previous warehouse experience a plus. We also offer quarterly incentives which add up to big money at the end of each quarter.
