The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in MA, with additional expertise in venture capital and general corporate transactions. The role requires excellent academic credentials, exceptional communication and drafting skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Industry experience in energy, renewable energy, and private equity transactions is highly desirable. Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is a requirement for this position. Duties:Draft primary deal documents, including merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, and joint venture agreementsLead complex due diligence processesManage deal execution, including overseeing junior associates and internal specialist teamsInteract directly with clients, providing high-quality work product and maintaining client relationshipsAssist in business development efforts and client presentationsStay updated on relevant legal developments and industry trends Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Massachusetts Bar5+ years of experience in corporate MA, preferably within a reputable law firmStrong academic credentialsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesTeam-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solvingFlexibility to work extended hours as needed in a demanding, fast-paced environment Preferred Skills:Experience in venture capital transactions, both investor and company-sideFamiliarity with energy and renewable energy transactionsKnowledge of private equity deals and structures Certifications:Admission to the Massachusetts Bar As one of the largest law firms in the U.S. with more than 40 offices, it was founded in 1967.
