The candidate must be registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and possess a strong educational background in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and/or Doctorate degree in the specified disciplines and at least 2 years of laboratory experience. Duties:Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate searches in the biotech field.Draft and prosecute patent applications in compliance with USPTO regulations.Collaborate with inventors and scientific teams to understand and evaluate inventions.Provide technical expertise in biotechnology to support patent portfolio development.Analyze and respond to office actions and communicate with patent examiners.Stay current with developments in biotech and intellectual property law. Requirements:Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field.Master’s degree in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field.Doctorate in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Experience:2-6 years of overall experience.2 years of laboratory experience. Certifications:Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Skills:Strong understanding of biotechnology concepts and principles.Ability to conduct comprehensive patent searches.Excellent drafting and prosecution skills for patent applications.Effective communication and collaboration with scientific and legal teams.
