Description:
Responsibilities: Assess client's physical fitness and readiness for training. This includes exercise history, health history, and current health and fitness level. Uphold professional and respectful relationships with clients. This includes creating rapport, professional communication, and motivational support that matches the client's needs. Engage in active listening to define client goals clearly to encourage greater program success. Provide training programs based on fact and current science in the field of Exercise Science and Sports Medicine. Programs should be tailored to the individual client's needs. Support total body health by providing adaptive motivation, teaching proper movement, and answering general nutrition related questions. Referral outside of the facility is necessary if an issue lies outside of a trainer's scope of practice. Track exercise sessions and program success in an organized way. Salary $21--35/hour Requirements: Eighteen years of age or older. At least hold completed high school degree, or the equivalent. Some collegiate level education is preferred. All Personal Trainers must hold a current Personal Training Certification from an accredited organization. This can include, ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE, NETA, & AFFA. All Personal Trainers must hold a current CPR certification. Trainers will have a grace period of 60 days to renew CPR certifications if they become expired while training for Bridgeton.
