Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager with our client in the transportation industry in their Atlanta, GA location. This is a 12 month + contract position. Description: Seeking a Project Manager Our client is on a journey to becoming the best IT organization in the airline industry, a journey of transformation. They are changing the way we do business from top to bottom as we strive to create meaningful and innovative solutions and are looking for team members to help us realize our vision Responsibilities: Manage the scope and deliverables of assigned projects of middle to high levels of complexity Plan, monitor project tasks, identify risks, identify issues, and drive resolution of issues Provide regularly occurring updates that will focus on the status of the deliverables, milestones, and identify any outstanding items that may hinder or otherwise impact the timelines Manage interdependencies with other IT workstreams with attention to any contention of resources, deliverables, and initiatives Identify and manage scope creep while providing succinct and clear status presentations to all levels of management Identify and manage risk Track and report project status Drive in scope deliverables Manage any change in scope Facilitate change management related to project Identify roadblocks and secure leadership influence to remove Manage projects using best practices Requirements: 5 years (minimum) of project management experience Experience with 2-3 Large cloud program/project implementations, preferably with AWS Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint Able to effectively communicate and influence all levels of the organization Demonstrated analytical and process engineering ability in understanding architectural diagrams and workflow Desired Skills: Test environment and test data experience If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
