That creates an altogether different experience.Summit is seeking a motivated and talented Graphic & Digital Designer to become an innovator on our close-knit marketing team. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Under moderate supervision, produces graphic designs for communications through a variety of media outlets, digital and traditional. Focuses on creativity and originality to create persuasive and appealing designs that can be comprehended quickly by target audience(s). Skilled with modern digital design tools including Adobe Creative Suite Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs. Assembles and prepares final assets for end use and archives projects using department protocol. Preferably has video editing skills (Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro), animation experience (After Effects), and/or web design and page building expertise. May help identify third-party vendors for services not provided by the organization and participate in receiving quotes/bids and/or ensuring contracted services are received. Maintains record keeping systems for the department. Demonstrates working knowledge of incoming files and information and data retrieval from these record keeping systems. May perform some copywriting and editing functions on assigned design projects if applicable to skillset. May coordinate appropriate review and approval from management, legal, and/or stakeholders. Develops and demonstrates working knowledge of regulations/legal requirements, as needed. Demonstrates working knowledge of trends and best practices in modern graphic design concepts and technological advancements. Builds a working knowledge of our business units, products and industry. Performs other duties as assigned. The person hired for this position will work out of the Lakeland, FL office which offers a hybrid work environment of 3 days in the office and 2 days' work from home. #LI-Hybrid Job Requirements Education: Associate degree or equivalent (minimum); Bachelor's Degree preferred. Field of Study: Graphic Design, Fine Art, Commercial Art or a related discipline. Experience: 3 to 5 years of high-quality pro experience with a portfolio for review.
