Trinity Baptist Church is excited to announce the search for our NextGen and Missions Minister. He will be a full-time minister called by the church for the purpose of serving as a catalyst for mission work within the Lake Area, North America and beyond and for assimilating young-adults into the life and ministry of the church. The minister is a person of spiritual integrity; must have a pastor’s heart with a contagious passion for maturing disciples; must have the ability to train and equip volunteers; and has the ability to organize and develop ministries that impact our church, community, and world. General requirements are active in evangelism and creative in outreach planning and implementation; self-starter, self-motivated, and able to follow direction with little supervision; out-going personality with excellent communication abilities; and must meet the qualifications set forth in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9. Our missions’ strategy, when combined with our evangelism and outreach ministries, assures that Trinity is intentional about being a balanced, Acts 1:8 church. Trinity's desire is to help bring in the spiritual harvest: · in our Jerusalem (Lake Area) · in our Judea (Louisiana) · in our Samaria (North America) · to the uttermost parts of the earth Our Missions Strategy has the following components: Mission Teams: Trinity's Missions Strategy Team and Lake Area Missions Team help plan, promote, and support all aspects of the Missions programming. Missions Education and Awareness: The goal of our missions’ strategy is to use various means to educate Trinity members regarding missions and how members can become personally involved in missions. Major components of this part of the strategy include our annual Missions Day Celebration, Quarterly Missions and Ministry Conferences, and a continual “Because you gave through the ministries of Trinity” campaign : Trinity is involved in multi-year partnerships locally, nationally, and internationally. The goal of the partnerships is to make financial, prayer, and people resources available to Carey Baptist Association, Louisiana Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention missions and ministries to help fulfill their mission and to give Trinity members tangible ways to be involved in missions. Missionary Support: Trinity members are given the opportunity to provide spiritual, emotional, and practical support for our mission efforts. Financial Support: Through annual Missions’ Offerings and also through our church budget, Trinity provides over (one-half million dollars) annually in support of Southern Baptist, Louisiana Baptist, Carey Baptist, Trinity Baptist, and other mission causes.We count it a privilege to be able to be obedient to the Great Commission, and to bring glory to the name of Christ among the nations. Through our partnerships and our own missions’ strategy, we are striving to be obedient to take the Gospel to the nations. Our world missions’ thrust includes our going, giving, and praying.Our efforts in world missions reflect our core values. We strive to partner with other likeminded churches to further the work of world evangelization. Here is a brief description of what we see as our role in reaching the world:1) The importance of coming alongside indigenous people to reach their own.2) Providing support for missionaries who are pouring their lives into indigenous people.3) Sending short-term teams/individuals in the U.S. and around the world to evangelize the lost and strengthen and equip believers.4) Supporting church planters in North America.Find out more about us at www.tbclc.org
